The Schuylkill Ballet Theatre encourages our members to expand their dance techniques and skills through other types of dance. Some of our dancers have been in the ‘spotlight’ and have excelled in other dance/performing opportunities.

SBT Open House To Be Held December 6th

The Schuylkill Ballet Theatre will host an Open House on December 6th, 2010. This is a free trial class to see if SBT is a fit for you. Class will be taught by SBT’s artistic director and choreographers. Open House will be held at Vivian’s Dance Studio in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.

The Schedule is as follows;

12:30 – 2:00 - Dancers with three plus years of pointe instruction.

2:15 – 3:30 – Dancers (age 9+) with two years of classical ballet instruction.

Spring Show Auditions To Be Held December 13th

Spring Show Auditions will be held on December 13th, 2010 at Vivian’s Dance Studio in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.

The Schuylkill Ballet Theatre is a non-profit organization committed to fostering youth of Schuylkill County in the art of dance. The Schuylkill County Ballet Theatre strives to culturally enhance the lives of the citizens of Schuylkill County and surrounding areas by making affordable productions of full length ballets during the months of November and April.

The Schuylkill Ballet Theatre invites all students currently enrolled in local dance studios to be a part of the company. In addition to the local studio instruction received, the members of SBT are exposed to duet, solo and other variation dance techniques. The techniques are incorporated into the full length ballet productions performed for the Schuylkill County community.
